Former cobblestone school house (now Air B & B) located at 4100 Lake Rd. (south side road) in the hamlet of Pultneyville. This is a highly significant image, as it shows the original configuration of the building's design and details, which include:

- The original wood-frame bell tower and swinging bell above the east gable
- Three windows on North (street) elevation/the center window was later removed & the present "front door" created here;
- Original "front door" on the east elevation; a 1-story, wood-frame addition was added onto this elevation & this door is now "inside" the building
- Most notable of all? You can clearly see the iron "tie rod" that encircles the exterior of the school house (and remains, in place, today). The tie rod was added to provide "stability" to what must have been a structural problem with the exterior walls (perhaps, they had begun to "bow" outwards?). The tie rod appears as a very narrow, dark, horizontal "line" that's located approximately halfway between the foundation and the cornice. You can see this "dark line" (iron tie rod) just below the top of the door opening (east elevation) and where it crosses one of the light-colored limestone quoins (northeast corner of the building) and extends across the entire north (front) elevation.
